My father sadly passed away from pulmonary fibrosis in 2005, he was a avid motorcycle enthusiast and was a huge role model to not only myself but many others, and became very successful on a competitive level racing all over the uk and Europe. 

I was brought up around motorcycles from a early age and my enthusiasm and love for them has grown ever since, so towards mid 2016 I decided to set myself the challenge of crossing the Simpson dessert across the heart of Australia which soon grew to also reach the most Northen point of Australia, Cape York.

The idea of also doing it in memory of my father, would give me the determination to finish and any money I could raise along the way for Action for pulmonary fibrosis, would in hope help others through this terrible disease.

As specified in the title of this page I will be doing this trip by myself and unassisted and will be 85% off-road covering just over 13500kms and camping most nights due to the huge expanse of this incredible country.
