I decided to volunteer for my local YMCA (Crewe) and was asked to become a Trustee. Within a month they'd asked me to be Chair of the organisation! I love what the YMCA do in terms of their approach to homelessness. They support and develop people to become the best they can be. That is the ethos I subscribe to, so in support of them I applied for a London Marathon place! Now, my challenge begins! As I attempt to raise £3500 AND run 26.2 miles!
