10 years ago in July we lost Wendy to mental health. She was the most caring and generous person there was. She always put others first and loved fundraising.
This illness affects millions of people and we would like to try and raise as much money and awareness as possible.
On Saturday 6th July, a team of Wendy's loved ones will be completing a 100km bike ride around Bristol through the night in the hope we can raise enough money to reach our £6000 target for Changes Bristol, a local mental health charity close to our hearts.
Any contribution, no matter how big or small, will go such a long way in helping to raise awareness and aid to those suffering with mental illnesses. Thank you.

Changes Bristol is a grassroots local charity which provides free, peer led support groups for anyone going through mental distress. These weekly support groups are ran across Bristol, same time and same place every single week - they are completely free to attend and open access (so no referral needed from your GP).
1 in 4 of us will experience a mental health problem each year - and in Bristol that statistic is even higher. Changes Bristol aims is to challenge stigma and prejudice associated with mental health (as it affects us all) and remove all barriers for people in and around Bristol to access the support they need.
A member who comes to a group said:
"This organisation changed my life. I have a safe space to share my woes (and my ups too!) I have friends now who mean the world to me. It's so good to be accepted for who I am without any pressure..."
As a small charity Changes Bristol are entirely reliant on donations to run these free support groups, so please donate what you can!
