Story

Grand Weston Wobble Part II

Thank you for visiting our page and I do hope you can find a way to donate what you can, we are setting ourselves a huge challenge and every penny really will help!

Staff who work at the Shopping centre and supporters of our chosen charity plan to walk over 100 miles in 5 days from central London to Weston Favell Shopping Centre in Northampton following the Grand Union Canal in aid of Thomas’s Fund, a small but essential local charity http://www.thomassfund.org.uk

This charity undertakes some fantastic work in the local community supporting children and their families in providing music therapy here in Northamptonshire for children and young people with life-limiting illnesses or a disability which, for medical reasons, mean they are too ill to attend school for extended periods.

On the evening of Monday 14th May this year we travel down to London to have a photo opportunity at the House of Commons with local MP Michael Ellis and stay locally overnight in accommodation provided by the landlords of Weston Favell Shopping Centre, RDI Reit PLC.

Early the next morning, come rain or shine, we put our best foot forward and set out on our first day of walking, looking to cover the first 21 miles to Uxbridge.

We are setting our sights high and hope to raise in the region of £10,000, so with your help we can really make a difference to those who need our help.

All donations will go straight to the charity and with your support this fantastic amount will be possible and make all the planning and effort worthwhile, staff who are taking part are funding all necessary accommodation and food themselves as well as taking days from their well-earned holiday allocation to make it all happen.

Anyone who donates £50 or more will get a mention on our wall of fame to be posted in the shopping centre and on our web site, £500 or more will get you a big mention, in return, with the support of Toolbox Marketing, we will ensure you will get mentioned within our press releases, on radio and social media channels.

If you wish to be a main sponsor and donate £1000 or more we will can arrange to place your message or company’s  logo on our support vehicle and walking tee shirts as well as getting your name out their within our PR campaign, we have the full support of Toolbox Marketing who will maximise coverage, they themselves are offering all services and associated artwork FOC.

I do hope you can help in this request or if you require further information please do contact me on 01604 411521 or email
