Hello everyone thanks for checking out my page. 

At the start of this year I was wanting to do yet another hike for charity and I was struggling to think which charity I wanted to fundraise for until one day, coming home from walking the dogs my neighbour Tim (who I've known all my life) came to me with the most devastating news that his wife Elaine had passed away in the night.

Elaine was always a lovely bright, smiling and friendly face that I can remember from being a young child. Sadly she suffered a long hard battle with Cancer.

The reason I chose Barnsley Hospice is because of the amazing care, love and hope they give people like Elaine in the time of greatest need.

For this hike I will be walking unaided for approximately 100 miles over 5 days from Saltburn to Flamborough. Accompanying me on this hike are 3 close friends Liam, Josh and Nick. Also my faithful dog Angie will be coming along with us. We will be carrying on our backs everything we need to sustain us and will be sleeping in tents along the way.
