Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page!

Hi there. This is the Just Giving Page for Will, Kat, Kane and Matt and this year we'll be running the Midlands Tough Mudder. A 10-12 mile Obstacle Course Run (not race) raising money for Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital.

The reason we chose GOSH is because Matt and Will have been mates since Nursery; going through Scouts, Girlfriends, Breakups, Gym Sessions, Rock Solid Race and now Matt's approaching Wedding day to his lovely Fiance, Sophie.

All of this could never have happened when Matt was diagnosed at 4 years old with Cancer. He was told he wouldn't live very long, yet here he is, happy, engaged, and ready to take on any challenges this Run can throw at him. At 160 years old Great Ormond Street is a leader in child health care, and without who's tireless efforts we would not have Matt around.

Tough Mudder has been something Matt and Will have wanted to do for a long time, and now that Kat, and Kane have joined the team, it'll be a 4 man/ woman go of it.

Will's also set us a deal. Given that Avengers 2/ Age of Ultron is happening this April and he's a massive Marvel fan, If you can help us reach the total of £350 by donating or sharing the link to people that want to donate, he will do the entire course in a Captain America Costume. That includes Cowl, T-Shirt, and Tights (with his GOSH Running vest included) (Photo Evidence will be provided).

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
