As some of you are aware we sadly said farewell to William Whittaker, an amazing gentleman, a great father and a loving husband. I was honoured to be given his blessing to take his daughter's hand in marriage and although he will not be able to join us on our wedding day, his wish was that we proceeded with our plans of getting married this year.

During his time with his illness he was looked after by the amazing staff and nurses of the Rossendale Hospice, who made him comfortable, able to enjoy each day to his best and offered amazing support to all of us as family during this difficult time.

Manuela and I have been blessed with many things in our lives, experiences we will remember forever and a home we can't wait to raise a family in. So instead of gifts, we ask that donations be made, in William's honour, to the extraordinary people at the Rossendale Hospice to enable them to continue with their amazing work, helping others through similar difficult times as we have gone through this past year.
