For over 25 years the West London Islamic Centre has provided religious, social, pastoral, health and educational facilities to the West London community. They are now embarking on a re-development project that will see it turned into a visionary and modern masjid and centre for the community, serving all of London and its diverse residents.

The new 53,000 sqft centre will include a cafe, visitor centre, library, enterprise centre, banqueting hall, community clinic and fitness centre, open to all.

Construction works began in August 2017 - the exterior, ground and first floor prayer halls are now complete, but funds are needed to finish the final Phase 3 of construction which includes the fitting of the 3 upper levels, the mortuary and cafe. As with many other masaajid, Coronavirus has impacted the ability of WLIC to raise funds to complete the project.

The Prophet (pbuh) said: “Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah
will build for him likewise in Paradise.” [Sahîh al-Bukhârî and
Sahîh Muslim]
