Story

Some people may think I'm crazy (including myself) as I'm not great with heights, but I am going to jump out of a plane at over 10,000ft, flying through the clouds at speeds of up to 120mph.

I will be doing my skydive in memory of my son Fraser, who was tragically stillborn at 40 weeks in June 2012.

Sands is a charity that is very close to my heart due to the vital work that they do. They support anyone affected by the death of a baby, working to improve the care bereaved parents receive, and promoting research to reduce the loss of babies’ lives.

Stillbirth is not a rare tragedy: in the UK in 2013, one in every 216 births was a stillbirth. This is around 10 babies a day. These figures need to be reduced and I would love to raise as much money as I can to help Sands fund more research to lower the number of babies that are tragically stillborn.

Please donate as much as you can to support this brilliant charity, which I am jumping out of plane for!!
