Story

Welcome to the ADSI Team page for our Mount Kilimanjaro Trek this September. For some bizarre reason we signed up for this challenge and are now committed to spending the forthcoming months in training!

We  set off on our adventure on Friday 7th September with a flight to Moshi, Tanzania and begin our trek on the 9th from Londorossi Gate to our first stop at Big Tree Camp. Our final summit day will be the 14th. This is going to be the most physical and mentally challenging thing we have ever done!

We are aim to keep you updated with news and tales of our progress, but ... connection to the big wide world will be difficult (a tough one for us mobile people!). However, we'll update you as and when we can and share the experience & pain with you ...

We are funding the entire trip ourselves but have decided to raise some much needed cash for the wonderful charity Great Ormond Street Hospital. All donations are 100% for the charity not for our trip.

In addition to the wonderful donations on this page, we have raised a further £3500 through ADSI Staff donations for dress down days and other charity auctions. Great news for GOSH

Donating through our JustGiving page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you so much for supporting us and GOSH, we really appreciate it,

Adrian, Stuart and Sue
