Story

Please help me raise £260 for the Tectona Trust.

Fundraising for Tectona Trust and the linked company I work for, Sailing Tectona CIC has been hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The impact of this on the activities of Tectona Trust and Sailing Tectona has been huge. We have had to stop all voyages, thus losing our immediate income for the foreseeable future and remaining unable to achieve our aim of changing lives through sail training voyages.

By sponsoring me and supporting the Tectona Trust you are helping to minimise the potential negative impact that Covid -19 will have on us. Any money raised will go towards ensuring that we can continue to have a positive impact on people from all walks of life.

SO... I will attempt to tie 26 nautical knots in 26 minutes without knitting myself in a knot! Do you think I can do it? Let me know by donating whatever you can to the challenge here.

Please do share this. You can nominate your friends complete challenges based on the number 26 or 2.6  and anyone can donate or set up a fundraiser challenge page for us via this link:

The attempt shall take place on Sunday at 12noon. Search for sailing Tectona on Facebook to see it.

Thank you for taking a moment to read this and for supporting a really amazing cause.

Dr Roger Crabtree strongly believed that voyaging on a traditional sailing vessel could help people of all ages, including adults with individual personal challenges. Sadly Roger has passed away. We are determined that his vision will be carried forward. Thank you for your help.
