I was inspired by a young man, George Robinson, of "TeamGeorge" Fame in Stamford who suffered a severe spinal injury at 17 during a
Rugby match. We have been completing his family's new garden since mid August and have learnt so much about him, his drive and his mental strength that puts the majority of us to shame.....

It underlined how an unfit chap like myself, as fully able-bodied, should have no excuse to step up and challenge myself to get properly fit.

So I have taken on the Channel Swim challenge to get fit, to lose pounds by raising pounds for this great charity who support the many people with Spinal Injuries directly with grants, through research, providing essential equipment, giving support and assisting with technology where possible.

Please pledge your pounds as an additional driver to me to lose the pounds around my waistline!!
