We are fighting to make a world where diabetes does no harm

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As you are all probably sick of seeing through my Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages I've been training as myself and my Daddy are taking part in the Great North Run half marathon in September! This year we are running together to raise money for Diabetes UK.

My brother Shane was diagnosed with Diabetes a few years ago, just days before Christmas and it was a big blow to the family, but through an amazing family support network, hes made a great recovery and living his life to the full despite his diagnoses.

Daddy and I have taken part in runs in the past (like to think we are some kind of runners haha) and thought that it would actually be nice to run the half marathon this year to raise money to help other people and families in similar situations. Every penny counts, no matter how small the donation. If you can spare anything to help motivate us through those 13 odd miles then it would be really appreciated!

This run is for our golden boy :)
