ALTRINCHAM VS CANCER - MORE INFO

Pure Gym And Altrincham HQ Present... Altrincham Vs Cancer

Local businesses Pure Gym and Altrincham HQ are teaming up for the Altrincham Vs Cancer Event on Thursday May 22nd

Altrincham Businesses and Community Members will be teaming up to run 140k at Pure Gym Altrincham to raise money for The Christie

Explaining how the event came about, Alex McCann of Social Media Company Altrincham HQ elaborated

"The Christie is a charity I always support as I have many friends that have been affected by Cancer and the Christie has been a huge support and help to them.

Since it was announced Pure Gym were coming to Altrincham there has been a massive buzz on twitter about the opening date and I think it's an important step in the regeneration of Altrincham.

It made perfect sense for a health related launch event and this is the perfect welcome for Pure Gym to Altrincham and shows the local community off at its best

For those who aren't aware - 140 is the number of characters you can use in a tweet - so we're taking what is a short form of communication to a lengthy run that will challenge us all"

Pure Gym Altrincham opens up on May 8th on Stamford New Road and will be open 24/7 - with the option of being able to come to the fitness club anytime of the day or night, before or after work or even on a lunch break.

Altrincham Vs Cancer is Pure Gym's 1st community event in the area and they look forward to many future events

Businesses taking part will be announced in coming weeks and are a mixture of Altrincham Large National Companies and Prolific Community Tweeters
