i was asked to do a long walk and i have never done before. so 6 weels ago i went into training to carry 10kg with camping gear. i decided to motivate myself by raising money for a charity and thought about Age Uk Dacorum as they had been so helpful t0 me when my my and dad lived with me. there was a lovely lady from Age Uk Dacorum called Anne that used to ring my mum regularly to find out how she was doing and was there anything she needed. Age Uk Dacorum also support those with Dementia and my friend who i am walking with has a mum with Dementia. without these charity services there would be no meaningful support for our elderly. Government sometimes treat the elderly as the forgotten people. Give generously to support all the good work that Age UK Dacorum do for our elderly.
