Story

An appaling massacre of thousands of migrating Amur Falcons has been taking place in Nagaland, India.

Bombay Natural History Society (BirdLife in India), working in concert with several other conservation organisations, are already taking urgent action to prevent the annual slaughter but there's much more work still required to stamp it out forever. Your support is vital to this work and will make a real difference to its success. So please donate now and give the Amur Falcon and other similar species threatened by illegal hunting a chance to fly free.

Your donation will fund urgently required conservation including; monitoring the birds at their massive communal roost sites, direct intervention to prevent further hunting and the establishment of an education and engagement programme in the local communities where illegal hunting is still prevalent.

Tackling illegal hunting in cultures where it has been practiced for many years is very difficult but our experience shows it can be succesful with the right resourcing and individuals like you can make an enormous difference personally.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to us and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.

Please make sure you add your email details when you donate so we can keep you informed about the conservation action you are supporting.
