Trailwalker UK 2017
Campaign by Oxfam GB (RCN 202918)
This year more than 400 teams will trek 100km across the South Downs in under 30 hours raising money for Oxfam and The Gurkha Welfare Trust.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

At the end of July, a team of 4 foolish people (as well as many others!)  have agreed to complete the 2017 South Downs Trailwalker challenge - 100kms, within 30 hours, on foot!  In context, this is about the same as walking from London to Portsmouth whilst climbing Ben Nevis AND Mt. Snowdon!!  Anyone who knows me well will know that physical activity isn't high on my priority-list, so for me this represents a real, proper challenge - but there are always people out there worse off than ourselves.

Any amount you can donate to sponsor myself and our team on this crazy mission will be so very gratefully received by Oxfam and The Gurkha Welfare Trust - two very worthy charities.

Our team goal is £1800 so this equates to £450 per team member, hence my target and anything you can give to help me (and the team) towards this total will REALLY help, however small.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you!
