On Jan 7th-8th I will be running a race called The Fan Dance: Trident Edition, in the Brecon Beacons. Having completed the winter & summer editions of this race in previous years, I thought it was about time to step it up & attempt racing three times over the course of two days. I'll be running three back to back 24k races, one of which will be completed at night! 

Whilst this all sounds quite tough; I'd like to use me doing this event, as an opportunity to bring everyone's attention & hopefully raise some money, for the InDependent Diabetes Trust- an organisation that supports people suffering from Diabetes & also their families. 

My sister was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when she was very young and I have watched her valiantly  dealing with this disease & its knock on effects throughout her life. It's quite incredible what she has to endure on a daily basis & I'd like to help in one of the only ways I know how; running!! 😊
