Story
Hi. My name is Anna and I'm a writer for the Believeingeek.com blog. This year I have decided to take part in the Race for Life in Plymouth.
I don't really have a interesting story to tell on why I'm doing the 5K, I've always wanted to take part and I really believe in Cancer Research. My excuse in recent years has been that I'm working whenever its on but this year I had no excuse and after dragging my friend to a wrestling show she convinced me the best thing for me was to take part in the Race for Life.
I'll be talking about getting ready for the big day on my week diary blog (creatively known as Week --) as she wants me to jog it (if you know anything about me you know I'm over weight and in terrible shape) so... I'll be attempting to jog.
I want to do my best for a charity that does so much good. One of my closest friends has beaten cancer and I'll be racing (jogging... Walking... Panting very loudly) for him and in the hope that the tiny little bit I can do will one day help others survive this horrible disease.
