Story
The Covid-19 pandemic has had a devastating effect on charities. In response, the organisers of the biggest mass-participation sports events across the country have come together to create a new campaign to raise vital funds to help to save the UKs charities.
The 2.6 Challenge will launch on Sunday 26 April and run for a week. The aim of the challenge is to take part in an activity based around the numbers 2.6 or 26. ASF Staff and Trustees' will be taking part in various challenges throughout the week to raise money for the Foundation.
The Andrew Simpson Foundation was inspired by Olympic Gold and Silver medalist Andrew Bart Simpson MBE. Our core purpose is to transform lives through sailing.
We run a variety of Community Sailing Programmes which enable all young people to enjoy the challenges and joys of sailing, despite their background or ability. By supporting our 2.6 challenge you will be supporting young people from all backgrounds, enabling them to experience sailing, gain qualifications and develop key life skills.
