Story
Howdy troops!
As many of you will know, I have supported The Haemochromatosis Society for many years. Although most of my charitable support for HS has been in conjunction with my dear friend Paul, who is a sufferer, this year I am going it alone, perhaps partly because Paul reckons his body has given up on him, and partly because I have no respect for mine!!
I think that it is vitally important that we, as a society, support the phenomenal work that charities perform, and especially when it is a charity that supports people close to you (Paul and Val, take a bow!) in their fight against a little known illness like Haemochromatosis. You really can make a difference!! HS are such a wonderful group of people, and they have made amazing strides, and I want to help promote this charity and fill its coffers so that it can continue to aid people like Paul and Val, and the thousands of other sufferers across the UK.
So I beg of you all, my dear friends, colleagues and others, please laugh at my pain and my slow time, but please give generously.
Thank you,
Geoff
