Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On Saturday 11th October 2014 I took on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge with a group of friends. On the descent from the final peak I had a massive anaphylactic attack, brought on by a newly developed allergy to anti-inflammatory drugs. To cut a long story short, the Yorkshire Air Ambulance (YAA) were called, arrived swiftly, were nothing short of brilliant and got me out of a right pickle. Then I discovered they need £12,000 a day in charitable donations to operate...
I've chosen to cycle from home (Peckham) to the first peak we summited that day (Pen-Y-Ghent) to highlight that the YAA's net is cast wide and they help more than just Yorkshire folk. (And everyone loves a bit of alliteration).
So, Peckham to Pen-Y-Ghent it is then. From front gate to summit (sans bike) I aim to complete this in just over three days. Please give generously and share this page. These guys save lives and need to stay airborne.
Thank you, especially to my generous shirt sponsors. Please pay them a visit:
