As some of you know I have been training for the last 18 months for a special challenge.Well I can now confirm I am on the boat ! Yes your's truly is going to be swimming to France with 5 other nutters this June in a English Channel Relay swim race..

No I am not wearing a wet suit ,yes I will be covered in grease , yes I have to wear budgie smugglers, yes there will be Jelly fish lots of Jelly fish , yes sharks to , and maybe some rather large boats to avoid and yes it may be dark ... But all things considered I think the RNLI and Light Fund charity who I am raising money for deserve the love.

I am on the boat - Optimist. Racing 6 other looneys in there boat -High Hopes.. we set off from Dover hopefully getting to France 16 hours later , or 40 miles ...  Who will win ????

So I am asking all my friends , family and work colleagues to dig deep and donate .
