Story

A Hutch Is Not Enough - Because Rabbits Deserve Better

Visit us at http://www.ahutchisnotenough.com

Tens of thousands of pet rabbits live their entire lives silently suffering in pain and fear due to the ignorance, neglect and abuse of their owners. Sadly many of these rabbits suffer an agonising, lingering and horrifying death through starvation, dehydration, infection, disease or heat exhaustion.

In the UK the Rabbit Welfare Association & Fund campaign to improve the quality of life of domesticated rabbits in the UK by educating the public in the care and needs of their pets.

To raise income for the RWA/F, in September 2008 Andy ‘bungybunny’ Baker will be jumping off the world’s tallest bridge.

The Royal Gorge Bridge in Colorado, USA has a road deck 321m above ground. This will be the equivalent of jumping off the top of the Eiffel Tower or a 75 storey building.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Rabbit  Welfare Association & Fund gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now and together we  can make a difference and help relieve the suffering and neglect endured by thousands of domesticated rabbits in the UK.

Rabbits are the third most popular pet in the UK, and yet many live miserable lives confined to small hutches with little or no space, companionship or exercise. The RWAF aims to improve the lives of these beautiful, intelligent and neglected animals. Because rabbits deserve better!
