This year, children around the world are faced with more dangers than ever before. The conflict in Yemen has affected millions of children and more than 16 million people in Yemen cannot access safe water. There has been over 1 million suspected cases of Acute Watery Diarrhoea and cholera, with a quarter of these cases being children under 5. The devastating war in Syria enters it's 6th year with more children than ever before devastated by the conflict. They face violence, disease, hunger and the chaos of war.

In Yemen alone Unicef has helped reached more than 4 million children with life-saving aid; and delivered around 7,000 tonnes of nutrition supplies for severely malnourished children.
