Story
Sense marks its 65th anniversary in 2020 and we want you to help us celebrate. Take on a 65 for Sense challenge, something fun based around the numbers 6 and 5 and go for it! From 65 press ups, to a 6.5mile walk, from a 65 second handstand to a 6 and a half hour sponsored silence.
Sense was founded in 1955 by two mothers, Peggy Freeman and Margaret Brock, who both had children who were deafblind. They were committed to breaking down the barriers that stopped children being able to communicate and experience the world.
Continuing that mission today, Sense now also support people living with a range of other complex disabilities.
