The Alpha Omega Merry Miles festive fundraising event takes place between Monday 30 November and Saturday 12 December 2020.

As you may know we usually hold the Merry Mile event in Queens Park, but due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic we have decided to go virtual to help keep our supporters safe and to help protect our NHS.

The new concept is simple ask family and friends to sponsor you, choose a suitable time and place during the duration of the event and then run, walk or toddle a mile! Wear your best festive fancy dress, or if you prefer, try out our all new Merry Miles branded t-shirt - FREE with registration!

We can't all be together this year, so instead we'd love to see photos of you completing your miles. Please remember to share your pics on social media and tag us in (@mchcharity / @alphaomegasecurities) or email them to charity@mcht.nhs.uk and let us know you're happy for us to share them.

You can still join in as a virtual team if you'd like to do your miles along with family and friends, but please remember to check and observe national and local COVID-19 guidance before you start. Visit www.gov.uk/coronavirus for the most up-to-date information.

There is no minimum sponsorship amount for this event, but please be assured every penny you raise will go to our Lost Little Ones appeal and will get us a step closer to achieving our aim of creating a comfortable, non-clinical environment for people suffering baby loss at Leighton Hospital. Once you have registered we will send you a fantastic fundraising pack containing:

- Merry Miles sponsor form (please let us know if you need more than one when registering)

- A Santa hat - for the first 100 people to register

- An exclusive Merry Miles pin badge - for the first 250 people to register

- Merry Miles T-shirt - for the first 250 people to register (why not wear during team Zoom calls to help spread the word!)

- Children's achievement certificate please let us know how many you need when registering. We will leave the name section blank so you can write in your child's/children's name(s)
