Story

With the end of Lockdown, we all feel that we've spent too long indoors over the last few months - we all need to get some exercise and fresh air.

Our "Get Active at Half Term" event gives families a great opportunity to get outside and enjoy the local area over the school holidays whilst raising money to support the BSWCA. We are fundraising to provide the school with an outdoor canopy for the seating area to create more space for people to go in wet weather and for a potential outdoor teaching area.

We want you to pledge to complete an activity (walk, run, cycle, skip, hop - it's your call!) over a distance between 1km and 100km. The easiest way to raise funds is to create a JustGiving page and link it to our campaign. Then you need to tell people about your challenge and maybe doing a bit of training, depending on what you're doing.

We will also be giving some prizes for people who want to get a bit creative and send us their photographs:

- Best Outfit

- Most Exciting Challenge

- Most Money Raised

Don't forget to take photos of your activity! We'd love to put them on our Facebook page to celebrate your progress. Send photo's to enter the competition to win a prize to admin@bswca.org.uk.

Good Luck & Enjoy!
