Story

Starting on 11 October our 15 brave participants will be beginning a 10 week programme like not other! They will be battling to lose the highest percentage of body weight whilst raising vital funds for St Luke's Hospice to support patient care.

This is no 'soft' diet or fluffy excercise session when there is nothing better on TV. This is hard core. This is the biggest loser. Our participants will be up at the crack of dawn doing boot camps whatever the weather. They will be flipping huge tyres....they will be swimming in freezing cold water.... they will be climbing hills in the dark.... but.... then if that is all too easy they will also have to tackle belly dancing and ballet (don't ever think ballet is pretty and pink!!)

Meanwhile they will be ditching chocolate and fizzy drinks, probably deprived of bread and cheese in exchange for rice cakes and protein a plenty.

Each of them will be working for hard cash to help support their fundraising so you will see them out bag packing, washing cars or even parking them in a dark field at one or more of the events we support

We don't know what you think? But we think it has to deserve a few of your hard earned pounds to encourage them to battle on

So pick your participant and sponsor away. if you dont know any of these brave people you can make a general donation on this very same page and support them all.
