Following on from the success of our virtual Santa Fun Run in 2020, for 2021 we have decided to have both an in-person Santa Fun Run event at Leicester Racecourse, and a virtual Santa Fun Run, in any location of your choosing! Either way, we really hope you will take part and get well and truly in the Christmas spirit with us here at the Bodie Hodges Foundation on Sunday 12th December 2021.

Our in-person event will take place at Leicester Racecourse, where doors will open at 9.30am for registration and Santa Suit collection, with the warm-up at 10.45am. The 1km inclusive course event will start at 11am with the 3km event beginning at 11.15am. Food and drink will be available at the Racecourse, along with a variety of fundraising stalls, including a chocolate tombola! .

Our virtual Santa Fun Run can be completed in any location you choose. You can run, jog, walk, use a wheelchair, or push a buggy - whatever you choose and however you choose to take part, with a recommended distance of either 1k, 3k or 5k. As in 2020, we will stream a warm-up event on our Facebook page for you to take part in before you start. We would love you to join in with us on this day and share lots of photos on social media. However, you can of course, choose to take part on any day in December that is more convenient for you. For every participant aged 3 years and over, we will post out a Santa Suit to run in and a medal to celebrate your achievement or alternatively, you may collect this.

In support of the Bodie Hodges Foundation, we would like all entrants to please try and raise £20 in sponsorship, to enable us to continue to support those bereaved of a child.
