Covid has had a huge impact on all of our communities and we are working hard to help children recover their learning from lockdown. This has been made all the more difficult by the need to quarantine books before they can be passed onto another child. This has meant that we do not have enough books in circulation for every child to be able to take a book home as regularly as we would like.

As a result the Friends of Northside are raising funds to buy additional books for our children. Please donate as much as you can, the cost of a single book could make a huge difference. We believe that there is no greater gift than the gift of reading.
