CDH Sunflower Sunday is the annual awareness fundraiser for the only Australian charity dedicated to supporting children and families affected by the rare birth condition, congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH).

No family to face CDH alone.

CDH means being born with a hole in the diaphragm, and affects 1 in 2,500 births. This week, 2 families will receive this frightening diagnosis. The fatality rate is 50%. CDH can affect any pregnancy and has no known cause or cure.

CDH Australia funds medical research, creates educational content, facilitates face-to-face forums, hosts annual awareness day picnics, provides support services, and delivers hope.
