The Hull 10k and the Hull Half Marathon have become a staple fundraising event for the charity over the last few years. The charity consistently attract a high number of runners volunteering to take up the challenge!

We are delighted that after a 2 year hiatus the Hull 10k and Hull Half Marathon are back!

Our runners, some of which have been signed up for over two years are ready to go and looking forward to taking part in the iconic Hull Running Festival while fundraising for disadvantaged children young people and families in Hull.

The 10k route passes some of Hull's most iconic landmarks including the Marina, The Deep, Queens Gardens and the Guildhall before crossing the finish line. The Half marathon will take you on a 13.1-mile journey around Hull that will push you to the limit following the same route of the Hull 10K however as they head off to the finish Half Marathon runners will continue up towards and around the Hull University campus before heading back into the city centre for that all-important finish line.

in 2019 the charity had over 20 runners taking part in both the 10k and Half Marathon, runners had been recruited from the local area and from business supporters. Runners wore the iconic Child Dynamix running t-shirts and vests which where sponsored by Rix Petroleum and IT@Spectrum.

Runners and their supporters for the event raised over £3,000 to help disadvantaged children, young people and families in Hull.
