Take on the CFC500 challenge to help kids with cancer

The average cost of a bike that we award to a child living with cancer is £500, so we're challenging you to get active by taking on the CFC500! Bike, run, walk or swim for 500 minutes, kms, miles or laps and raise £500 to help a child with cancer.

Story

Please donate what you can, every penny of your donation will go directly to helping kids with cancer by providing them with new bikes and specially adapted trikes which help them to regain their physical fitness, strength, mental wellness and confidence after months of cancer treatment. Since the charity began in 2005 we have helped over 7,000 children, children just like Verity:

Verity was 3 years old when she became ill on holiday. A CT scan showed a brain mass and an MRI confirmed a brain tumour. Verity underwent 2 major brain surgeries, she recovered incredibly well and went home. A follow up MRI showed the tumour had grown so she is currently receiving chemotherapy. CFC awarded Verity a specially adapted trike last Summer, mum says

'Today Verity wanted to use her trike, you can tell just how happy she was, being able to cycle by herself without worry of falling or being left behind! She followed her brothers so happily and with no complaint....she powered on and loved every minute of it. She's now tucked up fast asleep resting her super tired legs with a super happy heart'.
