Dragon Boat Race 2019

Bring your team to battle it out at Manvers Lake in Wath upon Dearne, in our annual Dragon Boat Race. Teams are made up of a set of paddlers and a drummer, and each group will take to the waters in three timed heats, for a daring finale.

Story

Dragon Boat Race

Its back and its bigger than ever! Why not make a splash at our legendary Dragon Boat Race?

Once again were looking for teams to battle it out at Manvers Lake in Wath upon Dearne, Rotherham, in our annual Dragon Boat Race. Teams are made up of a set of paddlers and a drummer, and each group will take to the waters in three timed heats, with the top three boats heading into a daring finale.

You'll need 11-16 brave paddlers in a team so gather your friends and family together to take on this challenge. Entry is just £600 per boat,

About the charity

At Bluebell Wood we provide care to children & young adults whose lives are sadly just too short; both in their own homes and our hospice in North Anston. We believe that every family deserves to make magical memories with their child, we need to raise £14,000 each day to keep our doors open.
