Story

In 2020 the world was hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic and the knock on effects are having a disastrous impact on our wildlife. As economies continue to suffer there are less resources available to support wildlife at a time where there is increasing peril, when people are becoming more desperate and poaching is on the rise. The Elephant EPICs fundraising mission with Game Rangers International is more critical than ever before and YOU CAN HELP by entering or supporting the Elephant EPIC 2021 - 75 Challenge.

Be EPIC - Encourage your friends and family to sponsor you and join the herd!

The David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation (DSWF) are raising funds to support project partner Game Rangers International (GRI), a conservation organisation operating in Zambia. DSWF supports GRIs on-the-ground park protection, including the training and provision of equipment to rangers, alongside community outreach programmes and special anti-poaching units to fight poaching and wildlife crime. DSWF also supports the Elephant Orphanage Project (GRI-EOP) in Kafue National Park, which rescues orphaned baby elephants in the wild and rehabilitates them for release back into wild herds.
