Story

Once again, we are launching an emergency food appeal to support our single-parent and low-income families at Project Hope in Sri Lanka.

Through no fault of their own, families have been forced to live on a daily basis in intolerable conditions, with limited access to food and fuel for over four months. The devastating impact of this ongoing economic crisis has resulted in 70% of children at the Rosie May Pre-School now being identified as malnourished or borderline malnourished.

Just £25 provides a food parcel for a family and a nutritious lunch for a child at the Rosie May Pre-School for a month!

Each parcel contains:

No. Food Item Units

01. Red Rice 05 Kgs

02. Dhal 01 Kg

03. Gram 01 Kg

04. Sugar 01 Kg

05. Wheat Flour 01 Kg

06. Potato 01 Kg

07. Big Onions 01 Kg

08. Full cream Milk Powder 400g

09. Dried Sprats 250g

10. Canned Fish 02

11. Soya Meat 250g

12. Garlic 250g

13. Velvet Soap 02 nos.

14. Washing soap 02 nos.

15. Washing Powder 500g

16. Toothpaste (L) 01

17. Tea Leaves 200g

18. Noodles 500g

19. Samaposha (Cereal) 500g

20. Chocolate Biscuits 500g

Because of your incredible support we were able to feed over 3,000 people on a regular basis during the pandemic. Now we are asking for your help once again to keep little tummies full and prevent the long-term impact of malnutrition.

Thank you for your support which is needed now more than ever before.
