Sad ibn Ubadah reported: I said, O Messenger of Allah, my mother has died. Shall I give charity on her behalf? The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, Yes. I said, Which charity is best? The Prophet said, A drink of water. (Hadith)

Malawi has a high rate of water borne diseases and poor villagers have to travel several kilometres to access a water source which may not be safe to drink. We aim to provide rural villagers access to clean drinking water close to their homes.

We will be building water boreholes costing £2000 each which can provide water for a whole village. Full feedback from the start of the project to completion will be provided (contact the Facebook page).
