Story
Birmingham Forward Steps is an integrated health and wellbeing service for pre-school children across Birmingham. Led by Birmingham Community Healthcare (BCHC), the service is designed to provide all families of pre-school children with accessible, community-based services in their own homes, GP surgeries, childrens centres and a number of other community venues, with extra help available to those that need it. The citywide service is delivered collaboratively by BCHC working alongside Barnardos, Spurgeons Childrens Charity, the Springfield Project and St. Pauls Community Development Trust, across 10 districts for children and their parents/ carers from shortly before birth up to the age of five.
Our Help for Kids Appeal will help Birmingham Forward Steps provide families in need with gifts and other useful items to bring a smile to children on birthdays or other celebratory occasions and holidays. By donating to the Help for Kids appeal, you can help us provide puzzles, games, stationery, craft items, toiletry sets and more! Heres how your donation could make a difference:
£5 could provide a fun colouring/activity pack
£10 could fund a small toy or board game
£20 could help us offer families in need baby toiletries for their child
£50 could provide a selection of toys for a Toy Library for families in temporary accommodation
BCHC Charity is the official charity supporting Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. We fund equipment, research and facilities not part of core NHS services. Your support helps us provide the 'extras' that bring a smile to patients who access our services and enhance their experience.
