Story
The festive period can be a very difficult time for many of the people accessing our services and we are often the only support network they have. This includes (and is not limited to) those suffering from and/or at risk of homelessness, domestic violence, drug and alcohol addictions, mental health issues and learning difficulties.
Each year we support over 3,500 people across Hampshire - Our Give a Christmas Meal campaign aims to be able to provide as many of our service users as possible with a hot meal and/or small gift to help them feel valued at a time in which many can feel very alone.
Christmas is really a really hard time for me as I don't have contact with my family because of my problems. I know why it is hard for them to be around me, and being here with SSJ is really helping me to make the changes I need to make so that I can see those I care about the most again in the future - Sarah, Service User
Any additional money raised in this campaign will be used towards our on-going mission to buy more housing across Hampshire, in order to get people off the streets and into suitable move-on accommodation.
