#GoGreen4PS is Pharmacist Supports annual fundraising campaign. It is designed to bring together pharmacists, former pharmacists, pre-registration trainees and MPharm students through a variety of green themed events and activities to raise vital funds for the charity.

You can raise money by holding a wear green to work day, holding a green bake, gathering friends and colleagues to take part in a green quiz or raffle or crafting green goodies all to raise money for Pharmacist Support. Or you can text 'GGPS50' and the amount you would like to donate (eg £5, £10, £20) to 70070.

The #GoGreen4PS campaign was launched in 2016 to mark the charitys 175th anniversary and saw the pharmacy community raise an impressive £5,290 across the week for their charity.

This year were aiming to go even bigger and Greener. Were calling on everyone within the profession to show their support, get involved, get creative and most importantly to have fun. Our goal this year is to raise £10,000 which will help us to continue to provide our free and confidential support to those who need it most.

In recent years we have seen increasing numbers of people accessing our services with demand showing no signs of slowing down. Inevitably these increases have required an additional investment in resources.

As a non-membership organisation, we rely on the support of individuals and organisations in order to continue our delivery of this support. By holding a #GoGreen4PS fundraiser you could really make a difference in how we can help long into the future.

We have put together a range of #GoGreen4PS fundraising ideas and resources to help those taking part raise as much money as possible. Resources include a fundraising brochure, poster, donation box, bunting, balloons, quiz questions and games. You can help raise awareness via social media by joining our ThunderClap (a crowd-speaking platform that allows a single message to be mass-shared, flash mob-style) and by adding a twibbon to your social media profile pictures.
