Many Hertfordshire residents will be facing a winter like no other. An anticipated rise in unemployment due to the end of the government furlough scheme, cuts to universal credit and soaring fuel prices mean that more people will increasingly be unable to cover the basic costs of living such as food, heating and other essentials.

Our annual Winter Poverty Appeal raises money to provide vital grants to cover fuel and food costs, activities to reduce loneliness and isolation and support to help those in need to access specialist services and community groups.

This year to help raise vital funds we will be offering personalised virtual charity e-cards.

For a minimum donation of £250 for a business and £50 for an individual, HCF will offer you a choice of e-card designs which can be personalised to include a personalised message and a company logo (if applicable).

You can then send the e-card onto your friends and loved ones, colleagues or clients and at the same time help Hertfordshires most vulnerable residents including those facing food and fuel poverty.
