Raising money for Hospice of the Valleys during this time of crisis
.
The incredible staff at Hospice of the Valleys continues to provide what services it can to our community living with a life-limiting illness and their families during these unprecedented times.
The patients and families the Hospice cares for rely overwhelming up your support and even more so during this worldwide crisis. At this time, your continued support is crucial and as always, very much appreciated.
Our campaign target of £2,400 would pay for our Specialist Palliative Care Nurses to carry out 100 home visits to patients in their time of need.
Not being able to get to the barbers or hairdressers could be your way of supporting Hospice of the Valleys!
Can you be a local grower for Hospice of the Valleys?
Men let that beard grow during lock-down and ladies don't reach for that bottle of home dye and wear your roots with pride!
What you need to know
To register, please visit our just giving page and donate £10.00
You can then either set up your own just giving page or share the Hospice just giving page link on your face book page.
Ask friends and family to make a donation to the Hospice, update with regular pictures of how your growth is looking.
Minor trimming/tidying is allowed
If you shave or reach for the bottle of hair dye before the lock-down is over, you must donate a further £50 to Hospice of the Valleys.
Then when lock-down is over return to your normal clean-shaven, no roots self, knowing that you have done your bit to support your local Hospice.
We have set up a Hospice Lock-down Beard and Roots Challenge Events Group; you can join this page, post your starting photos and weekly photos thereafter.
