Story

Irish Community Services are doing a 50km Relay Race on Saturday 25th July 2020.

The race is between two teams drawn from our staff, trustees, volunteers and supporters.

Each team will walk, cycle and run a separate pre-set course covering a significant part of London's south east.

The route will connect the homes of many of our clients and we look forward to a wave and hello as we pass by.

The race starts at 8am and the first team to complete their course, which ends at our centre in Bexleyheath, will be declared the winner.

Definitely no athletes in either team and maybe a zimmer frame or two - but, we are all in this to raise funds vital to our mission of Keeping our Community Connected.

About the charity

We offer culturally sensitive services to Irish people in the community who are often reluctant or unable to access the services of other larger organisation or statutory services. We recognise and celebrate the importance of belonging to the wider Irish Community.
