Home-Start's Covid-19 Emergency Appeal

Home-Start UKs ambassador, Kirstie Allsopp, is joining crafters and homemakers alike on YouTube every night this week (starting Monday 8th June) to talk about staying creative, happy and healthy as a family during lockdown.

Coronavirus is placing the greatest strain on families who are already vulnerable, including those already isolated, facing financial hardship and mental health challenges. Parents are struggling to get the nappies or food they need for their babies.

For many children school is where they get their main meal of the day. Families already under pressure now have to unexpectedly provide food throughout the day.

Home-Starts across the country are working tirelessly to stay connected with families and continue to support families remotely when they cant visit them in person.

They are working with community partners to ensure families get vital food, baby goods and other supplies delivered to them during the outbreak.

£11 could help us support struggling parents with practical goods like nappies and baby food.

£25 will help us stay in touch with a family in need through phone calls and remote group sessions.

£50 could pay towards staff to co-ordinate efforts with local Home-Starts for families who need our help.
