We believe strongly in empowering people to look after their mental and physical wellbeing during cancer. Last year we supported 300 people with cancer by providing complementary therapies such as acupuncture, reflexology and massage and running group courses of yoga and mindfulness.
The first 2 treatments people have with us are free and they can then make a donation for any subsequent treatments or the courses they do. This makes complementary therapy affordable and accessible for people, and in the words of our service users:

Treatment really helps keep the worst symptoms at bay
We are determined that 2023 will see My Cancer My Choices help increasing numbers of people diagnosed with cancer in Berkshire who are turning to us for help. We will be offering 150 treatments per month in 4 centres across Berkshire and will continue to provide both face-to-face and virtual courses of Mindfulness and Yoga.
All funds raised will go towards the increasing cost of providing our service. We provide necessary PPE to ensure patient and volunteer safety and pay for the equipment used to deliver treatment such as acupuncture needles, reflexology wax and massage oil. We also need to hire rooms and venues to run our therapies and face-to-face courses.
