2020 has been a difficult year for most people including our local churches in the Parish of Bassaleg, being St.Basil's in Bassaleg, St.John's in Rogerstone and St.Anne's in High Cross.

Our churches have been closed for a large part of the year and our income has therefore decreased significantly which is not sustainable. We have certain fixed costs that need to be met regardless of whether the buildings are open or not and although we have been able to draw on some reserves in order to meet these, we cannot continue to do so.

You may know that towards the end of each year, we organise a Christmas fundraising quiz and raffle in the Parish in order to boost our funds. Unfortunately, this year these cannot go ahead so we thought that if members of our community would still like to benefit the Parish at this very special time in the church's calendar, you could donate to us using this JustGiving page instead.
