In 2019, RBLI will be celebrating our Centenary Year. The charity was set up in 1919 to help wounded soldiers returning from the First World War. We have been providing vital support to Britains ex-Forces, particularly those who are wounded injured or sick, ever since.
Work is far from done; those who have fought in recent conflicts still urgently need our support. The need is real and urgent.
As well as our factory we offer homes, care and community on our diverse Aylesford village and a national employability programme, supporting the hardest to help veterans back into employment. On the village we can ensure that whatever a persons age, disability, or health condition, they can live an independent life and work towards a brighter future.
We are enormously proud and passionate about what RBLI stands for and we are all looking forward to celebrating our Centenary Year in 2019, building a brighter future for Britains Bravest for the next 100 years.
If you were able to donate to RBLI this Christmas, this could be used on items such as providing immediate accommodation, clothing, bedding and furniture for those who arrive on the village with nothing. We are reliant on the support of donors to continue supporting veterans who have given so much to us.
Christmas is always an important time for families and this support is needed more than ever.
