RiverWatch: Plastic Pollution is part of Earthwatchers - an innovative programme bringing together volunteers who take part in scientific research projects to help the environment. In this project, volunteers count and categorise the litter they find near a local waterway. This data helps to fill the gaps that currently exist around plastic pollution.
