Summer Search students need our support now more than ever as we remain unwavering in our mission and leverage our unique position to continue providing mentoring services virtually. COVID-19 has disproportionately impacted under-resourced communities and many of our young people have reached out to us for emergency relief needs. The average need from students has been $760 and most requests are for groceries. In a new effort to provide basic needs to young people and their families, we have established a fund to meet emergency needs.
